Heidi

Heidi was found tethered to barbed wire on a scrubby verge next to the busy A508. The verge was so narrow that every time she tried to turn round her quarters swung into the road. She had no food or grazing and no water. Responding to complaints, the RSPCA got in touch with the ‘owner’ and told them to move her, they did… about six feet further up on the same verge!!

Emaciated, dehydrated and suffering from worm infestation she came to our centre (pictured on the left before her arrival ). She is now a picture of health, and has a wonderful gentle nature.
