GRACE

It is with huge sadness that we regret to share the news that we lost our dear special pony Grace on the evening of Friday 22^nd June 2007.

 Grace was at least 34 years old, and despite coming through so many major problems – spine/nerve damage, a couple of severe colics, & teeth removal – she broke a bone low down in her foot, after two days of believing she may have laminitis or an abscess, she was x-rayed where it was discovered that she had broken the ‘coffin’ bone. We were all set to rush her to Bristol Veterinary Hospital – sadly the x-ray showed that the position of the break would have made an operation very tenuous and little chance of recovery. Needless to say we were devastated and still cannot believe we have lost her in this way. No matter how many animals we are lucky enough to have here at ‘Flicka’, losing one is very painful.

Grace has a left a huge void – they’re all special, Grace was exceptionally special, we miss her so much………………..
