CRACKER

Cracker originally came off the moors – saved from the meat lorry because of his striking colour, but his was not to be a happy one, bought cheaply to be ‘broken’ and sold on for profit. The men who bought him could not get him to accept a headcollar, so they forced it on him and tied him to the back of a quad bike where he was dragged regularly till he fell, he endured this as well as beatings. Terrified and traumatised they decided to have him shot. Fortunately for Cracker a lady had seen his ordeals, and although was afraid to video the evidence, approached his ‘owners’ to see if she could have him.

So…..after many months of ‘remedial’ treatment and kindness, Cracker arrived here in March 2006, he is a lovely little chap, although still a little worried, quite happy to be lead with a head collar. Don’t you think he’s handsome?
